Preliminary is a objective type examination held for one purpose which is right selection for the right candidates for the Mains examination.

1. Paper 1 - General Studies - 100 ques - 200 MARKS(negative marking is also there, they will reduced 1/3 for a wrong answer. )
2. Paper 2 - CSAT - 80 QUES. - 200 MARKS (reduced 1/3 for a wrong answer)
